This video from the Children’s Hospital Colorado is all about 11-year-old Trinady Kufeldt. Trinady was just 6 years old when she began experiencing acute stomach pains.

At first doctors thought it was a stomach bug or maybe the flu, but as the pain continued and other symptoms presented it became clear that she had inflammatory bowel disease.
Diagnosed with chronic Crohn’s disease, Trinady tried many different treatments and while most of them helped with the symptoms of Crohn’s disease, the side effects of the medications and treatments were too much for the young girl to handle. But she’s incredibly strong and tries not to let her Crohn’s disease get in the way of having a normal childhood.
