Turkey Burgers

Turkey is a great alternative to beef, full of protein and low in fat. Serve these burgers up with your favorite sides for a tasty midweek dinner.

Ingredients (serves 4)
1¼ pound lean ground turkey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried onion flakes
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to season

Method
Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Shape mixture into six evenly sized balls and flatten out into patties and refrigerate for a couple of hours to firm up. When needed, either broil or BBQ the turkey burgers for approximately four minutes each side until cooked through and the juices run clear.
