Ulcerative colitis (UC) is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes painful ulcers to appear in the GI tract. Symptoms of the condition include diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, weight loss, nausea, fever, and anemia.

In this Party Pooper video, Cherylann excitedly tells viewers that she’s in remission for the first time since being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. However, as Cherylann explains, to stay in remission she will need to undergo IV treatment every four to eight weeks and put up with the side effects from the medication.
