In this video from Lets Talk IBD, vlogger Maggie Baldwin talks about some of the surgical scars she’s accumulated over the years due to her inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 11, Maggie has spent a lot of time in the hospital and has had various procedures to help manage her IBD.

Maggies talks viewers through her scars from resection surgery to her ileostomy, and even her central and PICC lines. Despite her battle scars and major surgeries, Maggie is much happier now as having her colon removed means she’s no longer in constant pain. Her scars and ostomy bag are a testament to how far she’s come and she hopes that by sharing she can help others also suffering from the condition.
