In this video, Greg Williams shares some tips on how to improve digestion if you have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Williams explains that there are three important factors to consider when eating to prepare your body for digestion. He advises anyone who suffers from ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease to do the following things: start the digestive process by thinking about the food you’re going to eat and what it’ll taste like; thoroughly chew your food to fully extract the vitamins and nutrients; and concentrate solely on eating—not watching TV or reading the newspaper—so that you chew the food enough and don’t eat it too quickly.
