Thaila’s Journey With Crohn’s Disease

In this video from May 2014, YouTube vlogger Thaila Skye talks about her Crohn’s disease journey and how she ended up with an ostomy bag in 2010. She also offers advice to others who may be suffering from an undiagnosed inflammatory bowel disease.

After Thaila was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, she tried to bring the condition under control with various medications, but the pain continued to get worse until she suffered from a perforated colon. Following surgery to remove the colon and have an ostomy bag fitted, Thaila’s Crohn’s disease is now in remission and she no longer suffers the agonizing pain she did prior to her surgery.
