According to the World IBD Day Organization, five million people live with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease worldwide. These conditions are also known as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).
May 19th will be World IBD Day and many patient organizations, representing 35 countries on four continents, will mark this day.
